We are located in Portland, OR. We offer three terms each year, each lasting from 8 to 11 weeks. Fall term begins in late September, followed by Winter term beginning in January, then Spring term beginning right after Spring Break, usually the first week of April, and ends just before Memorial Day. In the summer, we break from our regular schedule offering simplified levels with a punch card system for drop-ins, so you can come as your schedule permits.

By participating in full-length terms, students will:

     • Work at a more appropriate level of challenge with others at similar levels of experience

     • Build a foundation of knowledge, strength and consistency

     • Receive more individual attention

Please call the yoga coordinator at (503) 223-8157 to discuss the appropriate Gudmestad level for you and find out about class availability. Many classes are full when the term begins, so we suggest you register at least a month early to assure your place in class. We also suggest you start your class at the beginning of the term for continuity of instruction, however we may allow you to join a class later as space allows.

Once registered, NEW students are asked to send in a $25 deposit and a registration form to reserve a space in class. Deposits are refundable up to 7 days before the first class. If you cannot attend class, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may give the space to another student.

Registrations are for full terms only. Once registered, your place in class is assured for the term, so there are no refunds for late drops. Special consideration is given for a medical problem or family emergency.

Absences may be made-up in any class at your level or below, and must be completed within the same term. Please arrive early, introduce yourself to the teacher of the class you are making up in and let him/her know which class you are enrolled in. You may not carry over missed classes into the next term, nor will a refund be issued for missed classes.
